Knife draw x 55; grand total 220
Jab/Cross x 20
The jab/cross is feeling a bit less awkward. Due to a severe lack of motivation today, I didn't feel like heading out to the garage for another session on the heavy bag. I was sorely tempted to take today off and count it as a weekend day for me, but, as The Fly says, thanks to being accountable to the blog and my friends, I did my reps today, as planned.
Welcome aboard remad. Glad to have you here.
Are you liking the CMD stuff? I'm going to check it out this weekend on the free day.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm liking it quite a bit. It seems to be a good, systematic approach to developing a solid stand-up game. When you get online on the free day, in the video section, I suggest starting at the "Monkey Trail" theme, then branching out and watching some of the "Anatomy of Technique" and "DNA of Stand-Up" videos. There's one or two in there that explain the 4 main CM games (CM1 through CM4), but I can't find it right now.
ReplyDeleteMost importantly, though, Rodney is a great coach, and the group of guys he has attracted are awesome people.
